Oil Painting for all Levels July 2026

This live recurring online class offers a blend of live demonstrations and interactive critique sessions, tailored for artists at every level.

In July, we will meet on Sundays for 3 hours. Half the class will be live demos where Ricky unveils his artistic process and techniques, allowing you to paint along live or catch up with the recording at your leisure. The second half of the class will be for constructive critique sessions to discuss and provide feedback on artworks, embracing pieces created during our sessions or independently, across any genre. Critiques are the real power behind live online classes. Online classes are especially well suited for constructive critiques.

Each month, we focus on completing a single painting together. We rotate subjects throughout the year, alternating between the figure, portrait, landscape, and still life, giving students the opportunity to build a well-rounded set of painting skills while working through each subject in depth.
